Crescent Royale 1.0.17 cuts lag spikes in online matches with a new, faster connection. Recent versions also brought player names, a shop, character rentals and a mystery box.

- Smoother online matches: A new, faster connection reduces stutters and lag spikes, especially on mobile data.
- Player names: Player names now appear above every character.
- Tidy rings: One neat blade ring per level.
- Smooth pickups: Blades you pick up fly to you without stuttering.
- At your screen's speed: The game runs at your screen's refresh rate (up to 120 FPS).
- Blade orbs: Orbs on the field usually hold 5 blades, sometimes 10 or 15.
- Less slowdown with many blades and many fixes.

- SHOP: No-ads packs and diamond packs.
- Rentals: Diamond characters and blades can be rented for 30 days.
- Glowing rings: A full ring glows gold, then orange, then purple.
- Mystery box: Break the "?" box on the field with your blades and blades spill out.
